Kootenay Mountain Biking Vid
Norwegian writer Geir Anders Rybakken Ørslien and Canadian photographer Kari Medig team up to cover the great mountain biking trails around Nelson, British Columbia.
I found out about photographer Kari Medig a few months ago when I was working on some photo research for the G3 website project. I was struck by the quality of Kari’s work and after digging a little deeper I found this slideshow showcasing Kootenay Mountain Biking on his Vimeo page I was instantly wanting to head out for an epic ride. Showcasing local area trails like Powerslave, Doz Slabs, Balls Deep, Shitaker, Baldface and Shannon Pass, Idaho Peak in New Denver and the Seven Summits in Rossland, Kari’s photos capture the majestic scenery, the variety of trails in our area and the many epic rides that are all within an hour of any of the Kootenay towns.
